Long story but I found you through a friend. I am really interested in your live streamings of ways to pray. Also, and forgive me, but I cannot remember how I came across your reference to Fr John Edwards. He obviously meant a great deal to you. Now to the point- some years ago, we were staying in Scarborough. My husband who is not a Catholic came to St Edwards with me to evening Mass. I’m pretty sure it was Fr Edwards celebrating Mass that evening. He talked his way through the Mass, describing what he was doing. It was an eye opener to me and it impressed my husband. That memory has stayed with both of us. We didn’t know him nor did we come across him again until I saw your reference to him recently.
Isn’t it strange- some would say it’s the Holy Spirit at work. I tend to agree.
Thank you for listening
Live streaming has a multitude of purposes even in the business world. You could stream webinars, conferences, training sessions, and even to multiple platforms simultaneously.
THANKFUL AND VERY HAPPY CARMELA
As a 60 yr old catholic, decades been fiercely struggling confessing before a priest, needing guidance, but somehow not finding what I needed !
For the very FIRST TIME in my life, I have actually heard a priest talk about
reconciliation in detail.
THANK YOU, so much Fr Steven ! i really believe that my past week’s prayers, have been answered, through you !
,
Explaining reconciliation/confession in the mass and having a healthy attitude to
” sin ” because of Jesus’s infinite love for each of us – shown in his suffering, torture and final death on the cross, was so easy to understand, and is so LIBERATING to hear in the way, you explained it !
A real ” gem ” of spiritual guidance, for ” free ! ”
Recently discovered online, your “Pause for Faith ” series, with you speaking daily, on a different spiritual theme.
What a wonderful FREE gift, you offer to ALL listeners, each day, for spiritual growth, healing, knowledge and personal reflection.
Also, am so thrilled to discover today, how to access your past talks in the series, which can ALSO be downloaded on youtube.
ANOTHER FREE GIFT to me, Thank you !
There is a real need today for wide ranging themes on Christian guidance within the Catholic church, to be spoken about, from committed priests.
Ones like yourself, who are ” gifted ” who are able to give down to earth, easy to comprehend explanations, on Christian spirituality.
You sometimes explaining aspects within the Catholic mass, the value of praying intercessionaly through Mary to Jesus, and the life of some of the saints, is not only interesting, but can be really helpful, too 1
I deeply hope and pray that you will continue with Pause for Faith talks, for many years to come !
God bless you and thank you !
